UTU Update May 2021

We listed on PancakeSwap, partnered with Meter, Pngme, and CryptoCart, brought on a new board member, and more in May 2021!

UTU Trust Guardians,

Welcome to the May 2021 edition of the UTU Update!

Let’s jump right into all the happenings over the last month!

You can view the UTU Update in video form here:

Tech and Product Updates

We’re just about to release a new SDK for the Core Trust API, which includes design updates and the video review feature.

We’ve also deployed new versions of our services on the Creditworthiness API and improved the product documentation a lot. This should make onboarding fintech clients much easier, and also is the basis for providing UTU creditworthiness oracles for DeFi.

Lastly, we’ve done a lot of work behind the scenes, mostly regarding devops processes and tech. That will improve our dev process further going forward.

$UTU is now listed on PancakeSwap!

You have expressed your concerns about the high gas fees on Uniswap and how much of a hurdle these fees are to purchasing UTU Coin.

So we created an UTU-BNB liquidity pool on PancakeSwap, the largest decentralized exchange (DEX) on Binance Smart Chain (BSC)!

You can buy $UTU on PancakeSwap here.

Partnerships

Meter

We partnered with Ethereum scaling and interoperability platform Meter!

We used their Passport bridge to port $UTU to BSC (which helped us list on PancakeSwap) and will build our trust infrastructure on their blockchain.

Pngme

We forged a partnership with Pngme to increase access to financial services for the un/underserved!

Pngme’s API will be integrated into UTU’s Creditworthiness and Trust APIs to ensure data accuracy and customer trustworthiness.

And our ratings, reviews, and socially-powered recommendation features will be made available to Pngme’s bank and fintech clients.

Read all about the partnership here.

CryptoCart

Finally, we partnered with CryptoCart to improve trust in eCommerce!

We will be integrating our ratings, reviews, and recommendations into their eCommerce platform, and $UTU will be accepted as a form of payment for purchases.
