We will integrate the UTU Trust API into Phoenix Events dApp and Phoenix Identity to create trust signals across dApps.
Hello UTU Trust Guardians!
Learn more about PhoenixDAO and how we’ll work together below.
What is PhoenixDAO?
PhoenixDAO is a digital identity-based suite of protocols and products designed to power the new digital economy covering DeFi, NFT to decentralized governance through authentication, payments, and linked identity. These protocols include:
- Phoenix Identity: This is a protocol that creates and links digital identities across different DeFi based dApps, apps and APIs.
- Phoenix Authentication: This is a blockchain based 2-factor authentication protocol to verify DeFi app logins and approve transactions using your digital identity.
- Phoenix Payments: These are smart contracts that facilitate payments without a 3rd party escrow service.
The team also built the Phoenix DAO alongside a staking and events dApp. The Events dApp uses NFTs and Events Marketplace to facilitate creating, selling, purchasing, and gifting tickets for different types of events.
How will UTU and PhoenixDAO work together?
For starters, we will integrate the UTU Trust API into the PhoenixDAO events marketplace. Event attendees will be able to rate and review event creators to help others identify trustworthy actors within the dApp. The API will also serve up personalized event recommendations based on social connections and user-permissioned data.
Secondly, we will integrate the Trust API into PhoenixDAO’s Identity solution, generating trust signals for users of any dApps using Phoenix Identity. Using artificial intelligence and machine learning, the API is able to analyze various data and interactions on dApps, weeding out bad actors. These interactions include properly logging into and transacting on dApps using set authentication procedures. The trust signals will enable users to transact in a more trustworthy environment.
In addition, UTU will use the PhoenixDAO events dApp for future events, so look out for that in the near future! Users can book and pay for events with crypto, in addition to credit/debit cards, and also verify ticket authenticity on the blockchain.
“At PhoenixDAO we believe Trust is non-negotiable and makes the internet safe. While our vision still remains being one of the pioneers of various open source products and solutions, we’ll do all we can to make sure users are safe from predators, hence why we’re excited to partner with UTU.”— Monte Thomas, Partnership Director and Co-Founder of PhoenixDAO
“We’re excited to partner with PhoenixDAO to increase trust in digital identity, in line with our vision to make the internet a safer, more trusted place to gather, share, work, and trade. It’s also a great pleasure to partner in revolutionizing the online events industry, as we believe peer-to-peer marketplaces are powerful platforms that empower people to take part in the new digital economy.”— Jason Eisen, CEO and Co-founder of UTU
PhoenixDAO is a truly decentralized, open-source project that covers identity, payments, tokenization, authentication, and storage, alongside a dApp Store which sits at the heart of the Phoenix ecosystem. A core part of the PhoenixDAO strategy is to actively on-board both individual developers and enterprise level corporations to build using the protocols to power their products. This will enhance decentralization, token utility and the overall ecosystem.
UTU is building the trust infrastructure of the internet to help businesses and consumers engage and transact in an easier, safer, and more trustworthy way.
Our AI-based API products collect and analyze data to create trust signals and personalized recommendations that help consumers and businesses make the best decisions for their situation. And the UTU blockchain protocol rewards users for trustworthy actions and compensates them for sharing their data while protecting their privacy.
UTU changes the economics of trust, ensures trust can’t be bought or manipulated, and leverages data to help people make better decisions.
